EPOND is always on the lookout for sample transport innovations :

 -  here's an example: for a long time, joining sample capillaries to
 peristaltic pump tubes was a challenge to ingenuity -
  the inner diameters of peristaltic pump tubes are often so small
 that they refuse to fit to standard 1-16th inch diameter PTFE tubes.

 EPOND responded to this need in 2003, with 'CT-style pump tubes :

These 'cone-terminated', or 'CT-style' tubes are widened at precisely the point needed -
where a connection is made with the sample transport tube.

- another, more recent, example is EPOND's   'AirBip' sample sentry.
This electronic device alerts ICP operators to the presence of gas in sample lines, with a
response matched to the seriousness of the interruption.
